1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains how Unitell ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Jamal Yassin (trading as Unitell) based in Sweden, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Unitell mobile application (the "App") and our website (www.unitell.net). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Swedish laws.

3. DATA WE COLLECT
To provide the VoIP calling service, we collect and process the following data: Account Information: Your phone number (used as your User ID) and IP address. Microphone Data: The App requires access to your device's microphone to transmit your voice during calls. This audio data is ephemeral; it is transmitted in real-time and is never recorded or stored by us. Contacts List (Optional but Recommended): The App requests access to your device's address book (Contacts). This is used solely to: Display your contacts within the App interface. Make it easier for you to select a number to call. We do not upload your contact list to our servers. The matching process happens locally on your device or is strictly limited to the number you are currently calling to route the call. Call Data Records (CDRs): We keep a technical log of the calls you make (destination number, duration, time, and cost) for billing and troubleshooting purposes. Payment Data: We do not store your credit card details. Payments are processed by secure third-party providers (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe). We only receive a transaction confirmation token.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use your data strictly for the following purposes: To Connect Calls: Routing your voice traffic to the destination number via our telecom partners. Billing: Deducting the correct credit amount for the minutes used. Account Management: Identifying you and maintaining your credit balance. Legal Compliance: Complying with Swedish telecommunications regulations.
5. DATA SHARING
We do not sell your data. We only share necessary technical data with: Telecom Providers: To terminate your call to the destination network (e.g., transmitting the destination number). Cloud Hosting: Our servers (hosted within the EU/EEA) to run the service infrastructure. Legal Authorities: If required by Swedish law or a valid court order.
6. DATA SECURITY
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SRTP) to protect your call signalling and audio stream. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)
As a user, you have the right to: Access the personal data we hold about you. Correct inaccurate data. Request deletion of your account and data ("Right to be Forgotten"). To exercise these rights, please contact us at: support@unitell.net.
8. DELETION OF DATA
You can request the deletion of your account directly within the App settings or by emailing support@unitell.net. Upon deletion, your personal information and call history will be removed from our active systems, except for data we are required to retain by law for tax or accounting purposes.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
